The Faculty of Christian Education and Discipleship (FCED) is the foundational hub for developing spiritually mature, theologically sound, and pedagogically skilled leaders for the Church and society. It equips educators, pastors, youth leaders, and discipleship mentors to foster holistic spiritual growth, biblical instruction, and transformational mentoring across age groups and cultural settings.
This faculty addresses the urgent need for intentional discipleship, biblical literacy, pastoral care, and Christian education systems rooted in African realities and guided by the Great Commission.
This department provides theological, psychological, and methodological training for Christian teaching and curriculum development. Students are equipped to communicate biblical truth effectively in schools, churches, and learning centers. Emphasis is placed on teaching methods, learning theories, curriculum design, and faith-based education systems.
This department equips students to engage children, adolescents, and families with age-appropriate biblical teaching, pastoral care, and family-focused ministry. Emphasis is placed on parenting, child development, youth culture, generational challenges, and intergenerational discipleship.
Focused on the inward and outward growth of believers, this department emphasizes disciplines of spiritual life such as prayer, meditation, biblical study, fasting, and character formation. It explores both classical and contemporary practices of spiritual formation rooted in African Christian experience.
This department blends spiritual care, biblical guidance, and basic counseling skills to equip pastoral caregivers and Christian educators. It focuses on pastoral support in times of crisis, grief, and decision-making, especially within the discipleship and church education context. (Also coordinated with the Faculty of Behavioral Studies.)
This department trains visionary leaders for Christian schools, seminaries, Bible colleges, and church education departments. Students explore leadership principles, institutional management, Christian staff development, and governance practices for sustainable educational systems.
This department prepares instructors for teaching Christian religious knowledge in schools and faith-based institutions. It emphasizes curriculum development, biblical interpretation, moral education, and classroom engagement. The CRI program aligns with both biblical standards and educational regulations in African contexts.
The Department of Discipleship, Mentoring, and Spiritual Formation is committed to the holistic growth and maturity of believers through intentional discipleship, biblical mentoring, and Spirit-led formation. Rooted in Christ’s Great Commission, the department develops individuals who are spiritually grounded, relationally mature, and missionally effective in diverse contexts.

African United Christian Leader Association is an amalgam of all Christian Leaders, Professionals, Researchers, leaders in various works of life, policy makers educationists, Artisans, Industrialists, administrators, etc for a united African Church economy.
