The Faculty of Leadership, Economy, and Society (FLES) is designed to equip transformative Christian leaders for impactful service within the Church and the wider society. Rooted in biblical principles and informed by practical realities, this faculty bridges theological training with leadership, economic development, communication, entrepreneurship, and social transformation.

FLES exists to nurture leaders who are not only spiritually grounded but also strategically prepared to manage Church institutions, lead social change, and foster economic empowerment in their communities. The faculty champions a holistic view of Christian ministry that integrates governance, stewardship, innovation, media engagement, and community well-being.

Departments
Department of Church Leadership and Governance

This department provides training in effective leadership models, Church administration, policy development, governance structures, and organizational management. Emphasis is placed on servant leadership, accountability, biblical authority, and strategic visioning. Students are equipped to lead churches, Christian organizations, and institutions with wisdom, integrity, and excellence.

Focusing on the financial systems and stewardship practices of the Church, this department offers practical tools for sustainable economic management. Students learn about budgeting, fundraising, Church accounting, economic planning, and responsible resource mobilization. The department emphasizes transparency, accountability, and financial literacy as keys to advancing the mission of the Church.

This department explores the power of media and communication in advancing the Gospel and influencing public discourse. It trains students in strategic communication, media production, journalism, digital ministry, and Christian broadcasting. With an emphasis on ethical storytelling and media literacy, students learn to shape narratives that honor Christ and serve the Church’s mission in a media-driven age.

Aimed at fostering Kingdom-minded entrepreneurs, this department empowers students to build and manage enterprises grounded in Christian ethics and economic sustainability. It covers biblical principles of work, business development, social entrepreneurship, leadership in the marketplace, and faith-driven innovation. The goal is to raise entrepreneurs who can transform economies while upholding godly values.

This department focuses on the Church as a catalyst for economic transformation. It examines models for community development, cooperative societies, microfinance initiatives, skills acquisition programs, and job creation. Students are equipped to lead Church-based initiatives that empower members economically and promote societal well-being.

Dedicated to the holistic well-being of communities, this department addresses the Church’s role in public health, social care, and sustainable development. Courses include health education, pastoral care, HIV/AIDS awareness, mental health, sanitation, and social justice. Students are trained to lead faith-based interventions that restore health, dignity, and hope to vulnerable populations.
